James H. Mukoyama, Jr  Chairman and CEO: Major General (Retired) U.S. Army 1964-1995; Former Securities Industry Executive for 38 years. Promise Keepers since 1996, Command Religious Program volunteer instructor – at the Great Lakes Naval Recruit Training Center since 2001, Pinnacle Forum Partner. Former Chair of the National Advisory Committee for Minority Veterans, Department of Veterans Affairs. He and his wife were hospice patient volunteers for six years. Willow Creek Community Church member since 1995, leading a small group and co-directing a monthly men’s breakfast. Married to K.J. since 1971, one son and one daughter.

Philip Chappy Ferrer, President: 82nd ABN & 7th Army 1979-1992; MOUSA Executive Director & Operations; Founder Stand-by-me Heroes; MBA Aspen University International Project Management; BA Information Technologies University of Phoenix; PMP certified (169682); Global Program Manager across 5 regions; Chaplain and license minister (AG); member of American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, Rolling Thunder, Veterans of Foreign Wars; married High School sweetheart 45 years, Son and daughter, and 5 grands; biker and All American paratrooper.

Tomsa Reis: Tomasa is a passionate, sincere faith-based individual carrying her heart in her smile generating genuine love. She has the gift of encouragement and ability to see outside the box. Married more than 40 years to her husband, has 6 adult children and 11 grandchildren. Key in starting a successful Food Pantry and 20 years later still functions and assists. Her career includes: manager, coordinator, teacher, finance, community development, marketing, customer relations and is fluent in Spanish, her first language and english. In her Cuban heritage she openly shares the struggles that led her to American Citizenship recognizing our Freedoms are paid with a price. Her husband served in the Navy, Father In-law Army, Oldest Son Marine, Son-In-law Navy, Grandson Navy, Granddaughter Air Force.

Steven W. Koller: Raised in Edison Park and Park Ridge IL, B.S. degree Loyola University.  Managing Broker-Principal of Koller & Associates LLC in Chicago.  Member of the Chicago Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Uncle Konrad Koller, retired Army Colonel, served with MG Mukoyama’s commands.

Inspired by his older brother, born with special needs, serves  as  a volunteer basketball coach of Maine Niles Association of Special Recreation for over 30 years. VP of the Board/Trustee for the LiPoni Foundation for the benefit of adaptive special buses, scholarship and events hosted by the M-NASR Foundation.  Former Board member of the Wounded Soldier Foundation and Big Brother/Big Sister Program.  Served in the youth program as mentor to youth at Willow Creek Church and Hope Community Church in Glenview.  I Love sports, comedy, travel, live music, theater, boating, family and friends.  Every day is a privilege so I make the most of it.  Married with wife Laura and two daughters.

Howard M. Lang (Secretary): Military Outreach USA, Air Force 1967-1971 active duty, Air Force Reserve 1971-1975,Naval Reserve – JAG Corps 1975-1997 Retired as Captain (O-6).. Principal Attorney, Estate & Business Law Group, P.C., Libertyville, IL. Attends Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, IL. Married to Mary since 1968 with three children and eight grandchildren.

Leah Gwen McCool, US Air Force (retired), high school teacher in Pinellas County, FL.  BS in Education and MAT from Liberty University.  Mother of four and wife to a retired Marine – faith and family have been her foundations for success.  As a mother of a Marine, and mother-in-law to a Marine officer, Leah is passionate about military matters.  She understands the military way of life and values all who have served or currently serve in the United States Armed Forces and their families.  Freedom is not free; it is gained and maintained through sacrifice.  Her three granddaughters inspire her to reach higher and be the best version of self, created in the image of God.

Mark Zorko chairs Nominations/Governance, previously chaired Audit and Strategic Advisory and is on the Audit and Compensation Committees of Perma Pipe Int’l Holdings (NASDAQ: PPIH).He was recently appointed to the Board and chair of the Audit Committee for Westell Technologies (NASDAQ: WSTL). He has been a public company CFO and CIO for manufacturing, service, health care and high-tech firms. His background includes over 20 years of Board experience. He was the interim CEO of Well Services Ltd. He also serves on the Audit Committee for Opportunity International and was previously on the Board of St. Alexius Medical Center. Mark received his MBA in IT from the University of Minnesota and his BS in Accounting from The Ohio State University.

Steve Wild: Owner and CEO of Club Net, Inc., which owns and manages “semi-private” tennis and health clubs between Chicago and Milwaukee. Mr. Wild has served on a wide variety of non-profit boards and enjoys golf, tennis, and playing in his own 1960′s band The Class of ’68. Steve has an undergraduate degree from DePaul University and an MBA from Northwestern University with a stop at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in between. He attends Christ Church – Lake Forest, IL.

Frank Nimesheim: Veteran U.S. Army Reserve and earned a BSBA in Industrial Relations from Wayne State University. Frank held HR executive positions with Allied Signal, Kraft, UAL, and 4 private equity firms. Throughout his career he has worked with firms that specialize in placing veteran military personnel. He is a member St. Mary’s Church in Lake Forest, IL. Married to Barbara in and six grandchildren.

Jack Clarey: U.S. Navy Officer 1965 to 1970, Vietnam Veteran. Jack has a B.S from Iowa State University and MBA from the Wharton School. A highly experienced executive search consultant who founded Clarey Andrews & Klein, Inc. A Lector and Eucharistic Minister at St. Norbert Catholic Church in Northbrook, IL. Married to Kathi since 1965, two daughters and two grandsons.

Allen J. Lynch: Served in the 12th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile) from May 1967 until June 1968. The recognition of his conspicuous gallantry and selfless service to others in Vietnam was the catalyst for a life of service resulting in receiving the Congressional Medal of Honor. Allen continues to serve fellow veterans serving as a Veterans Benefits Counselor, Chief of Ambulatory Care Department of Veterans Affairs, and Executive Director of the Vietnam Veterans Leadership Program, Illinois. He left that position in 1985 to become the Chief of the Veterans Rights Bureau with the Illinois AG office and retired in 2005. Served in the US Army Reserve and Illinois National Guard until his retirement with 21 years of service in 1994. Allen, his wife Susan and three children live in Illinois and are blessed with 4 grandchildren.

John Patrick Bair, Ph.D.: Licensed Clinical Psychologist, IL No. 071.004689, Associate Clinical Professor, Psychology and Psychiatry, Rosalind Franklin University, Clinical Psychologist retired (30 years), CPT James A. Lovell Federal Health Care. Education: Ph.D., Northwestern University, 1991, Counseling Psychology. Expertise in Morl Injury PTSD, TBI and Substance Abuse through eye tracking as a biomarker. James Murphy: Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Served in the U.S. Army Reserve for 36 years. Retired as a Colonel. Earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from DePaul University, Chicago, a Master’s in Business Administration – Management Information Systems from DePaul University, Chicago and a Master’s in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, PA. Currently serving as the Command Executive Officer for the 416th Theater Engineer Command located in Darien, Illinois. Jim currently resides with his wife Shana and son Shaun in Homer Glen, Illinois.
